This are the ingredients of the Berlin based llot lov showcase of visual content for inspiration or simply the love for ordinary and old things. Every piece of their work bears llot llovs special signature. The knitted light object Matt is made out an environmentally friendly energy saving bulb, there is no heat emission. Its made for being moved and played with and Matt can be your friend all the way through long reading nights. Haaa, I would love to call one mine!

The lady with the southern-style vocals, Chan Marshall, the celebrated underground folk singer known as Cat Power, is newly standing on front of Lagerfelds camera as a CHANEL model and icon. This Photo credit goes to the amazingly talented David Black.

Beach house, a Baltimore/French duo with enough skirly keybord tones an percussion sounds, moving in a atmospheric indie-rock area. They produced 2008 a new Album with lots of new sleepy songs. Here you can see the video to their new song "Used to be".

Ohhhhuuu, I love the mint colored guitar! I wanna have one, just to stare at her everyday.

long time ago... Ive been blogging... hihi, Ive a little bad conscience. I didnt blog for a few days now. Ive been in bed for more than a week with lots of bad bacillus, but I fighted them away. 

I have a few things today for you. First the lovely house tour upstairs.

S(ch)austall

The FNP Architects from Stuttgart got many honors for their house in house project "S(ch)austall". I like the idea of making a house out the rest of an old one or ruins. New elements inserted in the old let gloom the new Woodhouse in the Stonehouse. 

Jeffrey Broadhurst's Cabin

A long winding drive over stones and grasses along the ridge of South Fork Mountain in West Virginia leads this airy 13m2 Cabin from Architect Jeffrey Broadhurst. Designed for his family as a abode retreat on their 27acre mountaintop property. It works without electricity, provides oil lamps and a woodstove heats the space. Lifting a small trap door in the floor reveals the lid of a water tank beneath the platform, water for the miniscule kitchen. What I didnt find is a toilet, which would be essential for me. In the picture you can also discover the very nice roll-up garage door. If anyone knows more about the lovely cabin, is welcom to comment.  

week of architecture

This week I will open my files about architecture. Everyday some goodies. I will show you my highlights. I like small houses or very spacious lofts, but it needs to be simple. I love the mix of old and new, swedish and industrial styles, fleamarket and modern design. 

Today a houseboat from Sweden. I found this lovely retreat on the swedish blog Skönda Hem unfortunately I couldnt understand the site. I love the design, the simple and practical construction. Lots of white and nature... just enjoy watching it.
